Hi everyone!
My name’s Hannah Livermore, and I’m the student veterinary nurse at Miller & Swann. I am studying with North Highland College UHI. I started in September.
I will be making regular posts to my online blog let you all know what I have been up to, and I hope to show anyone thinking about veterinary nursing what it’s all about.
So far in my training I have been learning the basics of veterinary nursing, which include infection control, parasites, performing clinical examinations, administering medication and much more. I sat an exam in January which I did very well in – phew! I owe a lot of this success to all the folks at the practice.
I like to think of myself as a crazy cat lady, as I have six cats at home on the Isle of Lewis. We also have two dogs, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Jack Russell, so don’t worry, I love dogs too!
